Small but interesting

There is letters to read written by young seamen. Didnt really realize how young they where when they sailed to different parts of world.

Interestin little maritime museum
Located in a previous maritime school building the museum is quite interesting with a lot of small things to see - a guided tour woild probably be preferable. Upstairs there is a simulator - You can try to get a boat to the New York harbour, for instance

Authentic, nice and small
The museum honours the seafaring history of Rauma. The displays are interesting and genuine, and the highlight is taking a ship into Rauma port on a simulator.
