Kylmapihlaja Lighthouse Island, Satakunta, Finland

4.5 (14 reviews) Spent 2-3 hours Ranking #7 in Rauma Lighthouses

What a place

Beautiful island about 9 clicks from Rauma. A 50 minute water bad ride gets you there. We stayed overnight. Our child was a bit ill and the staff were very accommodating. The food was fair to middling, but the location and views make this a value for money situation. The rooms are kind of what you'd expect, to me a bit like my perception of what army barracks would be like. Rooms were clean though. Toilets shared, one on every other floor. Showers were a similar sort of arrangement. There were also sauna available. Overall a great experience really

    Windy Adventure!
One of the most thrilling adventures in my life! The boat that we had to go to the island was small and the sea sort of choppy. We on the deck got drenched within a few minutes before we could go inside. But it was once in lifetime kind of experience. We went for a coffee in the restaurant and the view from the 8th floor was one of the most amazing sights in my life . It was as always they said like that and you fear to be blown away, and not easy to take pictures. But it's all worth it!! Strongly recommended to one and all!
