A must in Pori
I had previously visited 60 years before but the place still made an impression. As a child I was haunted for years by the painting of the people preparing to cross the river of death. This time I was again in awe but not any more haunted. The mausoleum really has an impact, and the lady guide was so excellent we were just so happy after the visit.

Monument of Fathers love for his young Daughter
This mausoleum lies in the peaceful cemetery of Käppärä, just 10-15 minutes walk forom the city center. Built By a businessman for his daughter who diesd just 11 years old it was originally painted By frescos done By one of the most known Finnish painters Akseli Gallen-Kallela, also now decorated By famous Finnish sculpturer Emoil Cedercreuz.
