Lovely area
Beautiful area perfect for history lovers, hiking and water activities. There is a beautiful beach with clear water, perfect for relaxing and snorkelling. Hardly anybody around when we visited in May.

Beautiful beaches and much more
The peninsula of Sinis is a place wonderful for a vacation in any season of the year. It is my favorite destination in Italy. Marine life, country atmosphere, archeology, tasty food, nice people and rich traditions. Don't miss the ruins of the ancient city of Tharros, facing the sea, close to Capo San Marco. Then, the beautiful beaches of Is Arutas, Mari Ermi, Maimoni, Putzu iddu, and Is Arenas. The Isola of Mal di Ventre (Malu Entu) is a wonderful experience for an entire day of marine life (I suggest snorkeling there). The colour of the water is more emerald then in the Emerald Coast. Just don't forget to bring water and a little tent. There is no trees on this island.

Archaeological wonder
Dating back to the Doric period 4th and 3rd century BC, this is a fascinating place to visit in Tharros. I spent four hours walking around the site, and the views from the tower are 360 degree stunning vistas! Plenty of little restaurants to eat and drink.
