Great Tour of this Beautiful Winery; Delicious Wine Too!
Santa Rita is located approximately 40 minutes driving from central Santiago. We booked our tour with Turistik, an excellent company but that's another review. Victoria, our guide at Santa Rita, was fantastic. She is very knowledgeable about both the property, the history and the wine. She gave interesting details and provided humor as well. Our tour consisted of a walk through the beautiful gardens, the wine cellar, the wine library, and the bottling plant. A sampling of three varieties of wine was included in our tour and we got to take the souvenir wine glasses home. Also on the property is an excellent museum. I would recommend this winery for it's beautiful gardens, interesting history, delicious wine and if you're lucky enough to get Victoria as your guide you're guaranteed a wonderful experience.

Very nice
We did a simple tour of the gardens as I am tea total and not interested in wine. The guide kindly spoke English though it was supposed to be in Spanish. The grounds were very pretty loosely based on European gardens. We had a delicious lunch in the cafeteria and also enjoyed the small museum with ancient artefacts not connected to wine making.
