Great way to see the city from above

The cable car to the top of the hill with the statue and church is a great way to get an overview of the city of Santiago. There is a funicular down the backside of the hill but requires a few hundred steps down without any hand rails to get to. Not for the faint of heart or mobility impaired.

Well worth a journey
This came as part of the Hop on Hop off Santiago bus ticket and was a great experience with some fantastic views around Santiago even though teh weather was a little hazy. Suoerfast staff dealing with queues - simply scanned my QR code and a five minute wait to board. I had considered doing the Sky Costanera attraction too but the haze did not seem to be going anywhere and as this was already included in my bus ticket I thought I'd stick with this. Going back down I used the already included funicular option on my bus ticket too. Clean cablecar, waiting area and helpful friendly staff.

Long lines but great views
We love a teleferico, and always make it a point to go. We may have erred in attempting to go around sunset on Good Friday (public holiday) as the lines were long, but the trips are efficient and safe. We had fun!
