An incredible view
The tallest building in Latin America is well worth a visit. After taking a fast elevator to the 61st floor you can observe a 360 degree view from that floor then take an escalator up a further floor to the 62nd where the views are simply stunning. You can see for miles and take in the scenery is as you look around. Once at the top you really do get a real sense of how much higher this building is than everything else around. It’s possible to see many landmarks including the main river running through the city; although when we were there it was no more than a trickle, reinforcing just how badly rain was needed in Santiago. Weather and air quality permitting it’s hard to say what might be the best time of day to visit, so had there been more time we might have visited more than once. As it was, we chose to go in time to see the sunset. At first it was very sunny, bright and the sun was blazing but as the sun set the colours became clearer and increasingly more beautiful until it disappeared.

Beautiful View
If you want to see all of Santiago in one look, I recommend Sky Costanera. The 360 view allows seeing most of the city, and the space is set up as an interactive museum, where depending on the windo you stand you can listen to a short description of the main monuments you can see from that point. I especially recommend being there slight before sunset, since you get a view of Santiago in the daytime, enjoy the sunset and view Santiago's night lights to top it off.
