Possible the best day I’ve ever spent!

Spent a day on the boat this past December. Easily the best day in Anguilla, maybe ever. Captain and crew were amazing! Stepped on the boat had a fabulous rum punch in hand in less than 30 seconds. Masterful captain and all around great crew. Bravo gentlemen…still think about the day often. My son had just as much fun. The water slide was awesome! If you have the chance, take lunch at Scully Cay as well. The food was sublime. By the end of the day, it was pretty clear that we had our fill of fine cocktails. This crew was so attentive, they even drove us in our vehicles back to the villa. First class, ten out of 10! Can’t wait to see the crew again in December.

A great way to explore Anguilla from the water
Yesterday was my second time out on Rum & Reel charter and I'm already looking forward to joining them again in the future! We were a group of three women who booked the afternoon sunset time slot (2:30-6:30PM) and it was a great way to make the most of our last day together in Anguilla. From the moment I booked the trip with Chris to boarding the boat with captain Dilon and Peka, I knew I was in good hands. Chris is prompt and professional in handling the booking details. Dilon and Peka are warm and welcoming and do everything to make you feel comfortable. Throughout your journey, they will provide drinks (water, soft drinks, beer and some of the best Rum Punch on the island!), play your own music playlists, share information about the island and answer all questions you might have while enjoying a day on the water. Safety is a top priority for them and they make sure they only go on the water when the weather is favorable. For those new to snorkeling or not fully comfortable in the water, they have floatation devices and provide spotting service by staying close to you from a small raft as you explore the reef life. The snorkel gear they provide is high quality and they also have two stand up paddle boards for anyone to use. I would suggest this company for people of all ages and comfort levels of being on the water. The outer deck provides a nice vantage point in the beautiful sunshine. The inside area is lined with windows that provide full protection from the sun, wind and rain. For all of these reasons, I highly recommend Rum & Reel! Thanks to Chris, Dilon and Peka!

    Terrific half day of adventure
We recently went with Rum & Reel for a half day trip. The design was to make our first trip to Scrub Island. We had heard about the beautiful beach, hiking past the plane crash site, and the beautiful lagoons. However, the seas were rough and when we go to Scrub Island, we were unable to get to shore. The crew remained upbeat and offered a trip to Little Bay instead. We have been to Little Bay on nearly every trip and while we were bummed, we made the most of it. While at Little Bay we saw a couple of turtles, many fish, and one stingray. Cap'n Dilon took us for a dive off of Little Bay's "cliff" rock and was a great diving instructor for our more adventurous kid. Tashim was a wealth of information and kept our less adventurous child interested with non stop sightings and details on all of the creatures he saw -iguanas, fish, turtles, birds. It really was a great trip- fingers crossed for a Scrub Island landing next year!
