Historic Railroad Site

The railroad stop at Sanderson, Texas was the site of the last great train robbery in Texas. Although the old depot building is gone, the railroad stop is still used by daily freight trains as well as AMTRAK which is an awesome and affordable ride from the Dallas area.

    just a terminal
    just a regular amtrak terminal, nothing fancy about this location, there is no convenience store either.

    Sanderson is a worderful place
    Extremely "old school" but great for this part of the world ! Bring your Big Boy pants with ya ! Traveling like in the old days but on more mordern trains.
