The best and the calmest part of Condado beach
Condado beach is a famous San Juan beach in the same name district, but beware of big waves and strong currents. However, this part is secluded and protected with big rocks where the waves crash, so it's the calmest and very pleasant part. It starts just by the Condado Hilton hotel and Ashford bridge going inland into a lagoon.

Cool place to kayak or paddleboard
We decided to check out the lagoon via paddleboard and kayak, and quite enjoyed ourselves. The lagoon is fairly large and at times shallow enough to see the bottom. There are supposed to be manatees in the lagoon, but we didn't see any when we visited. We did however, have a great time exploring along its banks and getting some sun and exercise. I would definitely do this again.
