AWESOME SAUCE.. Chocolate that is!
Treat myself to a drink and made a three course meal. It was magnificent. I love chocolate and I can say the way the chocolate is infused tingled my taste buds and gave my palate a new taste to desire. I had a REAL chocolate martini and I must say it has put the fake ones to shame. Next was the mofongo tapas filled with chocolate and topped with bacon bits with a lime garnish. The lime aroma tingled my senses and the mixture of flavors pleased my taste buds. After that I had what I call a glorified ham and cheese, Spanish cured ham and Gouda cheese, with dark chocolate and a guava spread (toasted) and sprinkled with confectioner sugar. OMG, they bought it to me hot. I was in heaven. The sweet and tangy taste melted against my palate. This was served with some homemade chips. I only ate half so I could have desert. For desert I had chocolate waffles with a scoop of their homemade chocolate ice cream and a scoop of butter pecan. This was topped with banana cream sauce. The waffle looked like it was quartered so two pieces were in the bowl with the Ice cream and sauce and the other two were probably crumbled and spread throughout because that's what it tasted like. Oh, and there was some decorative white chocolate sticking out. All of it was awesome. I could have actually split this with someone for it to be a nice midday snack but I was on a mommy only vacation so it was all mine. The total cost was $40.00 and well worth it for a different take in gourmet chocolate.

Chocolate restaurant & museum
A great stop for chocolate lovers with a nack for fine dining! I split a "choc-tail" and some deserts with my sister and mother. The collection of art was unique and moving, Cortes seems like a solid dude!
