December 2019 Harmony of the Seas Cruise- San Juan

I can't say enough about Charlies Custom Day Tours! He was fantastic! We had a party of 7 ranging in age from 19-55. This was our first trip to San Juan and we had no idea what to do. This tour was great! We got to see so many things and learn so much about the culture. Carlos is super friendly and knowledgable. His van is very roomy, he has it stocked with drinks, beer, and snacks. I am so glad we went with Carlos rather than a cruise excursion. I feel like we got to see so much more of the island; we even got to experience the rainforest. hopefully, my pictures will load so you get a glimpse of what we experienced. Also, I feel like it was a great bargain. His van will accommodate 8 passengers, so it was much cheaper than a boat excursion also. We thought San Juan was going to be boring but Carlos made it our favorite excursion of the trip! Even my young adult children loved it! Please do yourself a favor and book with Carlos! You won't regret it!

Great tour, great guide
You feel like part of his family when you first meet Carlos. So welcoming and down to earth, and goes out of his way to make you feel special. Your transportation is Charlie, a comfortable customized van loaded with snacks, drinks, towels, chairs, and other amenities to make your tour easy, relaxing and accommodating. Carlos put an itinerary together that took us west of San Juan, with great coastal and mountain views, to the black sand of Puerto Las Vacas Beach, a snack stop at La Palmita, then off to the wonderful Reserva Marina La Cueva del Indio, the ancient natural caverns on the coast with stunning views. From there, we dipped our toes in the water at Playa La Poza del Obispo and relaxed in the shade to take in the view and hear some history of Puerto Rico. After a stop at a food truck for some kabob tasting, the final destination was the Rio Tanama to see the hidden waterfall and a couple of local iguanas just hanging out. A spectacular time was had and we cannot thank Carlos enough for sharing his time, knowledge, and warm personality. You won't be disappointed, so go book your tour and have an amazing time.
