Love Brookside
We love Brookside! Our favorite place to play golf in the area. The course is pretty, well taken care of and not too intimidating. As fairly new golfers, we love that Brookside is both challenging for us and has some shorter holes that boost the confidence. Lots of trees, it's a pretty walk (or ride) and the prices are pretty reasonable.

Short course, good place to learn, not overly nice.
Brookside seems like a course that has been around a long time. It is definitely shorter in length, and an fairly easy scoring course, given that the greens are fairly flat and approachable. If you are learning or want a quick round that is good for your ego, then this is a good option. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, but this is not a course I would want to play on a regular basis. The club house is certainly on the older side. If you are learning (I went with my kids who are learning to play), then this is a nice course; it is short, usually not overly crowded, and plays at a reasonable pace. When looking at area golf courses, Stonebridge and Eagle Crest are much nicer options and more along the type and quality courses I like to play, but Brookside certainly fills a niche.

Worst golf course..ever
Terrible course management and control of pace of play. We left after 6 holes, over 2 hours WAITING WAITING WAITING on every tee. Never saw a ranger to monitor pace. Would not recommend this place.
