The Museum is dedicated to the collection, conservation, documentation, and promotion of the values of Puerto Rican sports through permanent and temporary exhibitions for the educational benefit of the Puerto Rican people. Among the future plans of the Museum is to develop an Educational Program through which pedagogical and cultural activities will be offered that will revolve around sports, for the benefit of students and the interested public. The Museum will create a Documentation Center, through the collection of historical written and visual information on Puerto Rican sports for the benefit of students and researchers.
