Little Bay, Saint Lucy Parish, Barbados

Naturally Beautiful
We stopped here to look around during an island tour with Carson from Carson's Taxi and Tours. There is a small beach area and you could sit in the shallow water but it's too rough for swimming. No bar, restaurant or people around, which makes this place special. We just enjoyed the views of the caves and the large waves crashing onto the shore, spraying us!

Little bay isn’t so little
This place was more scenic than we expected. It was lovely to walk around and admire it from different angles. There’s even a small beach there. But we didn’t try it. The seas weren’t too rough in August. I can imagine the bay transforms in January and looks even more enigmatic.

Peace and tranquility
If you ask a number of Barbadians if they have ever been to Little Bay quite a few do not even know where it is located. Every now and then I go down to Little Bay, park on the rocky access road, walk down and settle down in the pool like sea and watch the waves pounding on the nearby cliffs. Sometimes I can be by myself for more than an hour. At other times I have to share my serenity with families from the nearby village and some tour groups. One of my favourite spots on our Island.
