This was EVERYTHING!
We visited during the week and so there were not very many people at all so we felt pretty safe considering the social distancing requirements because of the pandemic. Our raft captain was AMAZING. Shout out to Peter!!!! He showed us a good time, took pictures of us and engaged us in conversation the entire time. We didn’t feel pressured to buy the trinkets on sale as is reported by some other visitors. It was a relaxing way to pass an afternoon and we definitely enjoyed it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because if you drive yourself to the attraction you have to get dropped off to your car after disembarking the raft and this is done in a rickety SUV with other visitors.

Relaxing, unique afternoon
As of Dec 2022, raft is $90 USD and can fit 2 people. I met a woman there also travelling alone so we went together. We had Captain Isaiah, who was very funny and friendly. He even taught us how to steer the raft and let each of us try it, helping us take photos. You can take drinks with you for the hour-long ride. Near the end, some of the guides try to sell you handicrafts (Isaiah did and I saw other guides doing the same with their clients), but they aren't pushy. Note: the card machine rarely works as the river is in a remote location, so it's best to bring cash. You can take a route taxi from Montego Bay to Falmouth (120 JMD in Dec 2022), but then you need to take a taxi to the rafting centre. In Dec 2022, the typical fare is 10 USD one way, and you can take the driver's number to pick you up when the rafting is done to head back to Falmouth). Ask around the Falmouth bus park, though, because I was quoted 20 USD by some drivers but finally found one for 5 USD.
