Breathtaking scenery

The access road is straight off the main road. The track is good. The viewing point just before the end allows access to the lake edge. Birdlife is abundant. Water birds, birds of prey. Along the track we found a group of rheas. Well worth the outing. Entry is free. The sight is unsupervised.

    Wonderful Wooded Area With Rich Ecological Interest
    Visited the Laguna Negra after the Fortaleza de Santa Teresa. Quite tranquil. Tour guides were able to show me and explain quite a bit about the natural vegetation and fauna that inhabited this region. Saw a large termite's nest which was really cool!

    Beautiful but...
    This is a wonderful spot to enjoy nature but it is a shame that the paths around the lake are filled with litter. It is such a pity for a country with so much tourism potential. We picked up some trash but there were no containers nearby.
