Kind and efficient
We foud a very nice apartment in Point d'Esny through Casanita. Mr. Walther was very kind and efficient in helping us through the whole reservation and payment procedure. The very nice thing is that you can make the payment directly through the Casanita wbsite, which avoids all the bank fuss and works much better. I suggest contacting Casanita for your holidays in Mauritius: they supply also cars and other sevices that can make your journey much better.

Very good stay
We spent a dream week in Villa Flamboyant, what can we say except that we intend to come back so much we liked it. We had a very warm welcome from René, manager of La Casanita. But the one we rubbed shoulders with the most during our stay was Sandrine, the housekeeper, who is kind and cooks really well. Her husband is a Taxi driver and we therefore took the opportunity to call on him to take a few walks. In short, Mauritians in general are great!! We will come back for sure!

In March this year, I booked a stay in an apartment in Mauritius online from January to February 2022. The La Casanita tourist agency that offers this apartment had good reviews on Tripadvisor. During the booking, Mr. Rene (director) asked me to pay a 50% deposit - 3,000 euros, to my question; If I can't come, the deposit will be returned to me, he wrote me yes, but if I cancel up to 30 days before arrival. Unfortunately, my health worsened and in September I wrote to Mr. Rene that I would not be able to come and asked for my deposit back. Mr. Rene refused to return me and wrote me an e-mail stating that this was his company policy and sent me to the internet. On his website it was also written that I had to cancel my departure by registered letter, it was very difficult for me because many courier companies refused to deliver the letter to me, but I finally succeeded, although I paid another 100 euro. Mr. Rene refuses to return my deposit all the time, although in the e-mail he undertook to return it. He intentionally concealed the terms of return and cancellation from me. I feel betrayed.
