Recently stayed in Tamarin and visited Flick en Flac, clean beach , busy, commercialised, but worth a visit. We then visited Riambel, further south...which was EMPTY and un-commercialised...and I much preferred

Mauritius Pearl
The proverbial Mauritian hospitality enchants anyone as usual. The strict sanitary control put up by mangement is reassuring. Of course counting on individual responsibility. The staff keeps their friendly touch with Dave giving you tat personal care and attention O have always cherished. Thanks mates to make it great.

One of the nicest beaches in Mauritius!
While we stayed in Flic en Flac we went there often for 1 or 2 hours in the afternoon/evening. Wasn't crowded. Beautiful sunset. Clear water. You can see lots of fish through the surface when you enter the water knee-deep. Great for snorkeling as well. Bring water shoes because of the stones and corals. Haven't seen any urchins there. You can have lots of different snacks from the food trucks there.
