Pereybere Beach, Mauritius

The perfect beach for swimming and snorkeling!
Beautiful beach where you can meet the locals! In the weekends the beach is filled with families having picnic. Few boats ( not like Trou-aux-Bich where swimming is dangerous) so you can easily both swim and snorkle as the locals also do. A lot of beautiful corals close the beach on both sides, you can safely swim all the way to the reef, and to Pointe d'azur. We stayed for two weeks and where lucky to see turtle several times. The whole family enjoyed this beach, would love to come back.

Good Place to catch sunset
The water is so clear and the sand is soft. A great place to take a stroll along the beach and also great for catching the setting sun. Certain part of the beach can be a bit crowded.

Nice beach, a little bit crowded
Pereybere Beach is a nice beach located in a small bay. The sand is white and soft, no corals or stones so you really can walk and swim barefoot. There is shade and it has got a handful of nice looking coconut trees. The beach has a good infrastructer, toilets, showers and some places to buy food and drinks. The only problem is: there are really many people around. Even during the week it is packed with a lot of guests, mainly from france, so you cannot call it a quiet place. But anyhow I would recommend having a look and spending a day there.
