Worth a visit

Museum El Ceibo on Ometepe Island is a must see in Nicaragua with one of the biggest and best conserved collection in the country.The museum has two exhibition halls, one with pre-Columbian statues and artifacts and one which shows the history of the Nicaraguan coin. When visiting Ometepe, El Ceibo is the place to get to know and experience the Ometepe culture. El Ceibo is not just a museum, it is fun for all ages!

    Worth a visit
    Both the archaeological and numismatic collection are incredible, very well preserved and complete. The guides do not speak English, but who needs a language when this site speaks for itself. This is a place of living history, definitely worth a visit.

    Nice museum
    There are two museums here. The first one has much pre-columbian pottery and is very interesting. The second one is a coin and money Museum. It actually has lots of history as heat new president makes their own new money. I recommend this to her
