Well worth the stop.
Thank goodness that this museum exists to bring the local culture and history to light. They have a nice selection of Maasai artifacts and jewelry.

Best place to learn about the Maasai people
This Museum is a part of National Museum of Kenya. Learn about the Maasai culture and be taught a few words of their Maa language. This place has preserved the rich culture of the Maasai community through pictures and artifacts. Here the old meets the new. Any fee paid there goes towards heritage conservation so that we never forget our heritage.

Love the preservation of the African cultures.
While you're in Narok, this museum will give you a quick refresher on the Maasai culture. Narok was the colonial headquarters for the whole Trans-Mara area.
