Bird watching excellence. Numerous water species along the lake side; thousands of Lesser Flamingos, groups of Pelicans, Egrets, Storks and in the trees and brush above the lake a variety of colourful birds. A shallow lake, in a few spots are information kiosks erected by local businesses.

    Another Pretty Rift Valley Lake
    I liked this park. There was a large abundance of animals including lions and we spent some time just watching 2 lionesses. There were also giraffes, zebras, cape buffalo and lots of flamingos and pelicans.

    Wonderful
    A very peaceful lake area which is wonderful to gaze and to see the beautiful flamingo's, all 10's of thousands that inhabit the shoreline near the nature preserve that is also well worth the visit.
