A great treasure of African heritage!
Wanna learn the rich history of African heritage, this is the place to visit! The collections are amazing with lots of history of the abaluhya community! Quite an educative place!

    Kitale Museum Review
This is a nice place to visit when you are in Kitale town. The 1km nature trail within the museum was the highlight of my visit. The trail makes for a quite and serene trail with birds chirping, stream flowing and peace. The museum needs to be maintained, that is the homesteads, the snake park and all the other tourist attractions within the museum. There was garbage behind the administration block, camp site and along the nature trail where the stream flows by. Not just to bring out the problems, but also to offer solutions. The Kenya Museums and KWS should work with scouts to maintain parks and museums in exchange for a limited period of free visits for schools. The government should really conserve our beautiful tourist attractions.
