Great Day of Fun!
We enjoyed our visit to the Roger Williams Park Zoo! We enjoyed how the zoo was laid out and the signs pointing you in a good path to follow. I also really liked that they do not give out paper maps and have you take a photo of a wooden one instead! The exhibits were well cared for and I enjoyed that there were zoo workers nearby to tell you about the animals. The highlight was the Red Panda (the sole reason we visited) and the Red Panda Merch! I was lucky enough to get some great shots of her walking around and eating. Adorbs! We wanted to see the Lantern Display but decided against it due to pricing. We paid $18 for the day admission and it was another $25 on top to basically retrace our steps and see all the lanterns we already saw but lit up. If they had a discounted add on, we may have considered it.

Good zoo in Providence, Rhode Island
The zoo has free parking. Online ticketing is recommended and tickets are date and time sensitive. The zoo is slightly hilly with good paths and some shade. During my visit is saw cheetahs, a snow leopard, zebras, elephant, giraffe, bison, pronghorn, alpaca, eagles and much more. The indoor exhibits were closed. A few food carts were open around the zoo, but the main food court and the only gift shop are at the "top" of the zoo. This is the highest elevation area and about as far from the entrance as you can get. I felt that the signage was poor. COVID-19: Employees were masked and visitors were expected to remain masked and observe social distancing. There were "animal tracks" to guide you along the circuit through the zoo.
