Dangerous and unwelcoming
I will enumerate in point form everything that was wrong about this place (actually they probably shouldn't be in business): 1) Very rude personnel when we arrived; 2) On our coupon it says that taxes were not included. But we were never told either on the coupon or on the phone when reserving that the taxes had to be paid in CASH only; we did not have cash, they were very rude and told us that we were told – but we weren't; they said we could pay after the excursion by going to a bank machine that was 5km away to get cash; Seems to me that the owners are stashing cash to avoid paying the actual taxes to the government 3) The coupons says: Please note that all recommended sanitary measures are implemented by the merchant = But, the bathrooms were extremely dirty; and the changing cabin was extremely dirty as well; 5) There was a sign on the counter saying : If anyone forgets a reusable mask inside the raft they will be charged 100$ per mask! Exploiting Covid to make people pay more money. 6) The bus driver was speaking to us on the bus to explain things and no one could hear anything he was saying, he refused to take his microphone; 7) The person who explained the directions of what was on the river was completely unclear and very brief; 8) The river was very dangerous; and was not as described, which was the following: Set in a magnificent area chock-full of caves, gorges and sculptured rocks = There were NO CAVES, and NO GORGES A team full of good advice to make you feel comfortable = There was NO TEAM and NO GOOD ADVICE whatsoever Many accessible swimming spots = There were NO swimming spots 9) We got stuck in rocks at least 10 times going down; we got very hurt trying to free the raft from being stuck; and were very worried for our lives; 10) When we got back we were asked how it went, we said it went very badly; we were not asked how come it went badly we were just immediately told we have to pay the taxes before we leave!
