Amazing museum

Great museum, turned up without booking and the staff were very accommodating. Had to show a valid government ID to be allowed entry, cost for westerners was PKR1000 (so a little bit expensive in comparison to other sites) but 100% worthwhile. When we entered the museum we were greeted by a guide Mahboob Ali who gave us an amazing tour, his English was perfect and knowledge was superb. His knowledge of numerous English facts also far outweighed ours. After the tour he would not take any payment or tip and genuinely seems to love his job. One of the best things we done in Islamabad.

    Good Museum
    It was a wonderful experience visiting Pakistan Army Museum. The museum is very well designed and curated. Motorbike of Maj Shabbir Sharif Shaheed and Maj Aziz Bhatti can make any visitor emotional. Good collection of artefacts and weapons. ?

    A must go place
    Wonderful display of dioramas and military history. A good opportunity for general public to know about military history of our country
