Make this your first stop in Dungarvan
What a gem of a historical museum. We could have spent more time than we did and, unfortunately, it was the last site we explored in this area. It should have been the first. Nice layout, easy to absorb the information, and so many interesting displays to see, but it’s not at all overwhelming.

Good informative local museum
We enjoyed our visit. A small local museum, but with lots of history recounted about local people and notable residents of the county. Enjoyed it very much. Spent over an hour reading all the signage. Perhaps more for adults than children. Very friendly staff and free.
