A nice wee find full of interesting info!
Beautiful building full of interesting info about the Blasket island. The viewing platform is great. The informational film was fab and the museum itself is wonderful. The cafe could do with a little work - we watched our food sit for about 5 mins as they made our hot drinks - just seems there would be a more efficient way to do things. As you would expect in a museum cafe it’s not cheap but it was pleasant enough. Staff all friendly and toilets spotless. The museum itself is really amazing!

Excellent Centre
We visited The Blasket Centre on spec as we drove around the Dingle Peninsula. It is housed in an impressive building & is even more impressive inside with a fascinating audio visual recording about life on the large island & numerous photos/recordings of some of the residents from the island, which really brings them to life. Having visited the information centre at the Cliffs of Moher, I thought the Blasket Centre was far superior in terms of the level of information they provided and how accessible it was. We also opted to have lunch there & the food was good and reasonably priced. The Blasket Centre is definitely worth a visit.
