    Fantastic cutting edge tourist experience
A brilliant innovative family tourist experience. Definitely this tour is leading the way in how future tourism destination experiences will evolve in museums. Our family had a great time with three children aged 6-9. I would highly recommend it and make sure and book ahead.

    Shorter than expected
A very unique experience and very well done. You are brought into a Viking house (you can see it from the road it’s in the church) and a staff member explains a bit about the archaeological dig and a little bit about how the houses were built. You then put the VR headset on and you’re off! It’s about a half hour of virtual reality (people with queasy stomaches beware). It was a little off putting that that’s it. You take it off the headsets, asked if you have any questions and then are escorted through the gate and that’s it. The gift shop also has two small shelves with a very disappointing selection of items (wooden swords and shields - adults like gifts too!) the admission cost offsets this though for sure!
