World Class Fishing Guide - Mick O'Brien

Mick O’Brien (an absolute gentleman) picked us up in his fine boat near Ross Castle and took us out on the beautiful lakes of Killarney. He provided my daughter and I with life jackets, rain jackets with hoods, fishing rods / spinners & a delicious lunch made by his very thoughtful wife. Mick is vastly experienced, knowing all the fishing hot spots. We (mostly my daughter!) caught 23 perch (returning 11) in less than four hours as Mick knew all the fishing hot spots. Upon our return to shore, he presented lovely prizes to my ecstatic daughter for: First fish caught, most fish caught and biggest fish caught! We would highly recommend Mick to anyone who needs an experienced & friendly fishing guide. Thank you again Mick for a great day fishing. Bryan & Maya

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute evening fishing trip with Mick. All my expectations were blown out of the water. Mick encapsulated all the things a teacher should be - encouraging, enthusiastic and passionate about his sport. We had a great evening full of laughs and one to remember. A highlight of our trip to Kerry. I'm excited for the next time I can book a full fishing trip with Mick. I highly recommend booking a trip with Mick if you're in the Killarney or Kerry region - you will not be disappointed!
