Situated in the heart of Dublin city, in the historic Liberties, Teeling Whiskey Distillery is the first new distillery to open in Dublin city in over 125 years. Visitors can experience the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a fully operational distillery on a guided tour, followed by a range of tasting options, to suit all tastes from whiskey beginners to connoisseurs. There are also premium tour options for Single Malt enthusiasts.

Very Interesting with a Great Whiskey Tasting - Marc was a fantastic guide
We booked the basic distillery tour ticket for our last day in Dublin when weather was a little rainy not sure what to expect. We confess we mainly booked this Distillery tour as it was marginally cheaper than Jameson. We were surprised how interesting this tour was and we LOVED IT. The building itself has been completed in a very artistic modern way and to a high standard. Marc was a fantastic tour guide and we loved listening to him explain the Teeling history. He was exceptionally knowledgable, answered any questions and also dealt very well with some rude people in the group so it did not ruin the experience for the rest of us. We also loved the whiskey tasting. I would have 100% said I did not like whiskey beforehand but Marc showed how to taste whiskey properly as well as try Teeling's own cocktail - both were divine and we ended up buying a bottle of Whiskey at the airport to take home with us. We can't wait to make the cocktail for the family over Christmas! I would recommend this to anyone who has a spare hour in Dublin and a great activity indoors if the weather is poor.

Really Informative Tour - Great Whiskey
We both really enjoyed the tour. Stephen was great and had a lot of knowledge of the history of distilling whiskey in Dublin, from the golden triangle to the present day. This site started in 2012 and is run by two brothers. It's a great space to visit, lots of wall art create a trendy urban vibe. We went for the Trilogy tasting but wish we'd tried the more expensive option as we enjoyed everything that we tasted - the single grain was our favorite. Wish we'd had more time to sample more whiskey and maybe a cocktail at the onsite bar. Much preferred this tour compared to Jameson as it is a working distillery. Recommended.
