Informative, fun, engaging, entertaining and ending with a pint looking out over Dublin. Perfect!

Say cheers at the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland. Housed in an old fermentation plant, the seven-story brewery gives you the lowdown on Ireland’s iconic beer. Start by standing at the bottom of the world’s largest pint glass and then make your way through the different stages of production before enjoying a complimentary pint with a view at Gravity Bar, Dublin’s highest bar. Even better, learn to pour your own pint with the Guinness Academy Experience. The storehouse is within walking distance from Dublin city center; tourists can also get there via the hop-on, hop-off bus. – Tripadvisor

    Enjoyable history-focused self-guided tour.
I enjoyed this tour very much, it is self-guided so I wish they had a student price for tickets, as it is pricier than other brewery/distillery tours. The drink in the Sky Lounge was really worth it, we went at 4 pm so the sun was setting by the time we reached the top (about an hour later). Would recommend going early in the day or late in the day to have the most space to walk around.

    Enjoyable experience
I would recommend leaving quite some time for this visit as there’s plenty to see and do. Minimum of 2 hours. An immersive and interactive experience about Guinness, it’s history and what makes it unique. The visitor experience justifies the entry fee, it also includes a free tasting session along with a complimentary pint of Guinness (or alternative cider / lager) on the rooftop bar. This is a popular attraction and expect the rooftop bar to be very busy, however it offers some fantastic panoramic views of the city. Advance booking is recommended especially at weekends - this is a very popular attraction and you may be disappointed if you’re looking to walk in. There is a cafe on site, and a souvenir store - which I thought was priced quite reasonably. Easy to pick up a cheap souvenir keepsake from your visit. The only improvement I feel would be a little more about some of Guinness’s more recent alternative products. There’s nothing really said about Guinness Zero or Hop House 13, even though they’re both popular contemporary drinks.
