Tracks and Trails
Walk from Edenderry town Harbour 1 mile to the Downshire Bridge, where you can turn left and walk 5 - 6 km to the Ticknevin Lock (Beautiful- with soft ground with views of the bog) if it's rainy turn left and walk the newly laid surface through 3-4 bridges, third bridge is Rathmore and equally as nice .. Enjoy

Walking
Fab fab! The walk along the grand canal is beautiful and the nature around it is wonderful, showing my daughter a heron on the bank just about to take off was wonderful. I do this walk everyday rain or shine.
