Absolutely stunning
One for people who love the outdoors. The lakes and the surrounding area are stunning, and you can take a carefree stroll around them and it’s a great opportunity for some great photographs. In particular On a nice day the Blessington lakes will provide you with great way of taken a relaxing walk around and to enjoy the outdoors. Located not to far from the likes of Glendalough, Powerscourt house and waterfall either. You can definitely spend a day here and enjoy the lakes and surrounding hills and mountains, worth making a day of it and visiting here.

A beautiful part of Ireland
Many tourists visit Dublin and then head for the West towards Galway or Kerry. If they only knew it, there is an area just 20 miles south of the Capital that is just as beautiful - Blessington and its lake. Nearby is Glendalough and Sally Gap.
