Off the beaten Path- Professional experience!
We booked two airport transfers and one hotel to hotel transfer for a group of 4 adults. Eugenia from Maleku Tours was wonderful to work with from start to finish. She patiently answered all questions using both Email and phone and took the time to reconfirm the arrangements one day prior to each pickup providing great peace of mind. She even called during airport pickup to insure we were pleased with arrangements and vehicle. One of our hotels was off the beaten path down dirt roads which was not a problem for Maleku Tours! Most importantly the rides were comfortable and on-time with drivers who clearly liked their jobs and took time to provide details about the sights and culture of Costa Rice. Will use for our next trip to the land of Pure Vida! Gracias Eugenia!

Excellent Tour & Reliable transfers
We booked Malaku Tour for our airport transfer and for the River Tubing and Rio Negro Hot Springs Private Tour. Eugenia, one of the owners of this family run business, picked us up at our resort and we drove about 45 minute from the resort to get to the Colorado River for class I and II tubing. On the way, Eugenia stopped at a local bakery in Liberia. It was nice to get a taste of local life and enjoy some treats. We were transported to the river tubing area and we spent about 1 hour tubing down the Colorado river- it was a lot of fun. We went over rapids and some slow areas too. Eugenia met us at the other end and took some pictures of us coming down the river. We then drove another 30 minute drive to Rio Negro Hot Springs. There are many different pools of water but we sat in the hottest one first which was 108 degrees. We then got out and we were provided with a cup of mud that we smeared over our bodies. We let the mud dry and then showered it off under the relatively cool shower. We walked back to the road and Eugenia brought us on a short hike (10 minutes) to see 3 different waterfalls. Eugenia was great - when I asked about wooden bowls sold by beach vendors, Eugena offered to stop in a souvenir store to compare prices. Overall, Eugenia was a fantastic, accommodating guide. She shared her knowledge and love of Costa Rica and ensured we had a fabulous day. Airport transfers were reliable and on time and I would highly recommend them for both tours and transfers.
