Wonderful -and authentic - ski resort
Auron is not far from Nice, excellent skilifts and interesting slopes; it has also an history illustrated by a very nice chapel from the 16th century

    Auron Ski resort
This is our second time to visit Auron. The slopes are long and well groomed. Unfortunately the skiing étiquette is not great and can be dangerous as a result. Skiers here do not always give way as expected. Young Children also are very often Unaccompanied on the slopes which creates dangers for all. Unlike other ski slopes there are no reminders re slowing down when crossing slopes or when entering the Green slope. We were witness to some scary collisions. There was no evidence of ski patrol to manage the slopes. I would recommend taking care of yourself here on the slopes at Auron- you may be skiing according to the rules but unfortunately there are many who are not.
