A dash of Vienna in the city
The palace was built in 1885 at the spot of the old theatre and as a part of the project of the National Theater House near-by, designed by Herman Helmer and Ferdinand Fellner, Austrian architects whose idea was to spread the Viennese atmosphere around. Its interior hides some very nice decorations made in the style of Viennese Ring houses. Today, it is a home of the City Library.
