A Secret Passage to Happiness

Sablicevo is a very tiny beach of Rijeka. It’s located to East from the centre and available to approach easily on foot as well (approximately 2,5 km from the city centre). Sablicevo is a short pebbly shore line, mainly ideal for couples and elders since its simplicity. Of course it’s suitable for families with children as well but the water deepens pretty quickly. It has shower and toilette and changing cabins. There is a little bar with good drinks and music P.s. the sunset is extremely beautiful from this spot

    Paradise
This is one of my favorite beaches in the world. When I went to Rijeka, I came here almost every day of the week. It's best to come quite early, recommend 8-9am and stay until early afternoon if you dont mind the every increasing crowds and lack of personal space surrounding you. Get there early and get a good spot. There is beer for sale at the little bar there too. What more do you need? How about crystal clear water and stunning natural cliff above you. It's stunning, no other word for it. Go early and often, enjoy the beauty. It's not sandy at all, all rocks. I found that wearing sandals into the water was the best solution, as not to attempt walking on the rocks bare foot.

    Nearest beach from Zagreb!
This is the best place to go to the beach if you are in Rijeka or even Opatija. I was there on a day trip from Zagreb and wanted to visit the closest beach that would also be worth the travel. I took the bus from the Zagreb bus station and it took me 3 hrs to get there. It was definitely worth it. I was recommended to go to Opatija instead, but I am happy I didn't change my mind, because there are formally no beaches in Opatija, you have to jump to the water straight from the stones or the port. While in Soblicevo you have a decent beach, although a little too small, it's still very beautiful and peaceful.
