Amazing stadium
wonderfully located stadium on the hill from which you can see how footballers are playing and behind them the Adriatic Sea. Now just as a reserve stadium but still one of the most beautiful football stadiums in the world.

Unique football stadium under a big rock!
I have been to Kantrida a few times but recently I attended a match of Rijeka vs Aberdeen. It was great to see again this unique football stadium under a big rock. Soon, they will build a new stadium which, I hear, will partly cover the big rock but still a good place to visit, both for the match or just to walk around it. There is a small beach nearby if you need refreshment on a hot day.

unusual football stadium
The new stadium will be built soon at this location but the old one (still here) is quite unusual. It's situated under some big rocks and just 20 m from the sea. It's not very big, I think for only 11 000 people but to the fans of Rijeka football team it means the world. I saw it mentioned it some lists of the most unusual&beautiful stadiums in the world. You can only see it during the match.
