Sandy or rocky, you get to choose!
Crikvenica has the best beaches I've seen. You have a very long walkable sandy beach where families gather and little kids run around and you have rocky beaches with huge flat rock surfaces where young and single people can find some peach and quiet or read a book. There's something for everyone! The sea is crystal clear and light green in colour. Water quality is so good you can see through 10 meters below, where all kinds of fish swim around leisurely. Restaurants and bars are just a stone's throw away. During the summer season the beach filled up fast but still it's very safe and I've never had to worry about my belonging when I go for a swim. Once my husband left his keys in the scooter ignition all day and it was still there when we came back all tanned and salty! I come here at least once a year and can't get enough!

Averige beach.
General was ok. Rocky beach with no garbages. Swim shoes highly recomended. Beach chairs need to rent, which is quite normal and ok. Water was clean and warm. First day, when just arrived some kind of fish bite my leg till blood. Only after that I read some information that in Adria sea there is some poison fish, crabs and sharks. Probably just for me that day was unfortunate, as other days was no biting fishes.
