A must see
This is a must see! We’ve been to this area frequently, but never made it to this place. I’m so glad we went to visit. Our guide was wonderful explaining all the important things we should notice. Documentary also provided enough information to anyone not being familiar with Bašćanska Ploča. Definitively worth the visit!

Church of St Lucy
The Roman church of St. Lucy ( build around 1100) in Jurandvor (2-3 km from Baška), is a holy place for Croatian history and culture. The Baška tablet can be found in the church and is the most important monument of the Croatian language , written using the Croatian alphabet – the Glagolitic alphabet

Must see if you are passing through
Baščanska ploča is one ot the most important monument of croatian literacy. You can pay for a small tour at the souvenir shop and you get to see a cinematic about the discovery an meaning and a tour of the church. And if you are croat you get to learn the right way to pronounce it :)
