Snorkeling excursion
My wife and I had an amazing experience on a half day island hoping snorkeling excursion with Matteo. He met with us and listend to what we wanted , then gave us different options . He picked us up on the beach of the resort we are staying at.He took us to some beautiful locations and even guided us on one of the excursions, where we got to see turtles , reef sharks and an assortment of amazing marine life.He served soft drinks and snacks then brought us back. I highly recommend Matteo, he has a lot of experience and knowledge of the islands.

Full day tour
We originally had chartered a catamaran for full day tour and drop off in mahe but the day before our original captain called to cancel due to an accident his boat sustained. At the last minute it was nearly impossible to get a private boat for full day tour. I called many local charter companies all of whom were sold out. I then called ziblo who are based in praslin but they did not have any availability either. However the lady recommended I speak to Matteo. We had a nice conversation and he seemed to understand what we were looking for. Although Matteo’s boat was not very large it was perfect for two of us. We had a great trip of smaller islands surrounding la digue and praslin. He arranged a very nice luncheon including refreshing bottle of wine and was a very good guide. I especially appreciated his knowledge of local area snorkeling as in the two spots that we stopped he pointed us to locations about 100-200 meters away from where most other snorkelers were but the underwater scenery seemed to be much better than where the ‘crowds’ were. Matteo is young guy who just recently started his own business after having worked in this industry for several years. I believe he will be one of the successful operators in time. Thumbs up from me.
