When you are in Bolivia you have to see. It is a beautiful place with beautiful views, greenery and, of course, lamas.

Another beautiful and peaceful place
We visited here on our way from Uyuni to San Pedro. We left the salt flats behind and set out into the desert. We visited many lagoons and rock formations. The whole route was breathtakingly beautiful, colourful and peaceful.

Laguna Negra - Interesting and Unusual
Visiting the Black Lagoon was very interesting. It is not as scenic as the other lagoons and fewer people seem to go there. There is a strange kind of algae growing in the lagoon. I took close up photos of it. Nearby, we discovered the green plant that actually looks like moss but is a tightly compact green plant. My guide said it was protected by the government after it was almost wiped out with its use for starting fires.
