One of the highlight of Potosi
Visited at the opening time 9am, joined a tour in Spanish. 40 Bs foreign ticket + 20 Bs if you want permit to take pictures inside. Not sure if they run tours in English, and if so at what time. Anyway, super interesting, collection well preserved. Left knowing more about the mint process in particular at the time coins were made in Potosi when silver was still found in the nearby mine. Knowledge that complement a tour of the mines.

Very interesting museum but an unnecessary too long tour
The museum is only accesible with a tour, which is included in the price. It is in Spanish and the group is up to 30 people. The tour is a bit too long, over 1h 30min. There are very interesting rooms about the coin's making and lamination, the different wood and steam machines, the mules' room and inner courtyard. But there are also some less interesting rooms that take too much time in the visit. The guide was very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, we have to pay an extra fee to take pictures.
