    Beautiful Nature Area
We have been visiting the Huron Nature Center for many years. We especially enjoy the annual "Lady Slipper Festival" held every year on Memorial Day weekend. Beautifully maintained walking trails (paved and unpaved) take you around the ecosystem of Michigan's upper thumb. Great for young and old alike. An active volunteer group maintains the trails, gift shop and brand-new amphitheater. Although admission is free, there is a place for donations. 5 stars all the way!

Peaceful nature area with nice people and facilities
We took a brief walk here along the paved walkway on a brisk fall day. The people in the visitor center were nice and helpful. Stop by and relax.
