Beatiful time warp villa with tea plantation
Visited based on recommendation. Delighted we did. A charming villa in large tranquil gardens, which we were able to wonder round by ourselves. Lovely family photos in the corridors which told an interesting story of the life of the tea plantation owning family who lived there. We had tea from the associated Bois Cheri tea estate on the large covered veranda. It was like a peek into a bygone way of life, lovely!

    generally good
The site is unlike most places we are used to. A mansion is set within a large premise with a vale leading down to a river. Part garden part wooded. well kept lawns everywhere and a decent parking that can take about 30 cars I'd say. The mansion is like a museum of old times with the rooms, library, etc free to visit. the traditional has been converted to well a seated restaurant with a short but good menu. NOT expensive for the kind of setup.
