VIP Treatment with Vijay of Coquille Bonheur, Mauritius

I just wanted to say how very happy we were with Coquille Bonheur, and in particular our driver and guide Vijay, who we had for 3 days on our holidsy in Mauritius. He went above and beyond our expectations to show us as much of the island as possible, more than we would have seen if we had tried to drive ourselves around. He was very respectful, treating us like VIPs, driving carefully and safely, stopping at beauty spots and view points helping us to get beautiful photographs. He had so msny stories to tell of the history, culture religion and politics of Mauritius, keeping us entertained throughout each journey. We found our sight,seeing mire interesting because of this. On the last day I wss feeling a little off colour and Vijay adapted our trip to make things easier for me and even giving me some meds (gaviscon, enos, psnadol) to mske me feel better. I would highly recommend Coquille Bonheur, and in oarticular Vijay to help get the most out of your trip.

Very nice experience!
Coming for the first time to Mauritius this was an easy way to see some of the great sights of this island. We booked this through the hotel, and had a meeting with the representative here. Our driver Ajay took us to see the dormant volcano, and from there to the Black River Gorges. Further on to the seven colors sands at Chamarel. After a nice lunch, we went on to the Hindu temple. Sadly we were not able to go inside, but this was only because of a very large Hindu festival beginning just a few days after our visit. We did however get to see the temple from the outside and to see some of the prayer sites. We really would like to thank our driver, who not only drove us around, but also planned the trip according to the weather, so that we would get the best possible sites. This is really a company to recommend. The car was on time, the driver was careful, and was extremely knowledgeable about everything we saw on the way, including plants, trees, and flowers. He was constantly telling us about history, plants, and how they were used by the people here and how they got here.

Wonderful service and help
We have just returned from our holiday to Mauritius where Coquille Bonheur supplied our designated reps in resort on behalf of Emirates Holidays. They were absolutely brilliant and so informative and helpful! Our main rep was Nisha who visited us on our first day then kept in contact via WhatsApp throughout our holiday. She made suggestions on activities/excursions we could do, organised them when we decided and also sorted car hire for us. She really made us feel welcome and ensured a stressfree holiday. Our CB tour guide to Port Louis was Dennis and he was brilliant. So knowledgable about everything Mauritius, sharing personal stories as well as history and tips to a successful visit to Port Louis (use the toilets at Fort Adelaide not the market, tell the spice traders in the market that you are Australian so they won't keep trying to sell to you as you can't take spices into Oz). Came away from the day knowing so much more about the country and cultures. Private taxi transfer from and to the airport was also with CB. Greeted at the airport by a rep who gave us handmade authentic gifts in the first instance (straw hat and basket) before taking us to our vehicle which was immaculate. Both drivers were very friendly and talked about the island and their culture, pointing out landmarks and features. Nisha also booked a catamaran tour to Iles aux Cerfs which was amazing - possibly our favourite day of the holiday! The ships crew were brilliant and even cooked chicken and fish on a bbq hanging over the side of the ship as we sailed. A fabulous memory. If you need guidance and support for your holiday and get to choose your company, then I would definitely recommend this one.
