Pisgah Gorge Falls, Alabama, United States

What a hidden gem
Had to ask for directions at the local gas station. Put "gorge" in the GPS maps and it took us past the cemetery and out to the ball fields. Found a sign that said "Gorge Parking". We hiked the 1/4 mile past the gate and down the road, past the Civilian building and there is a nice viewing point. A trail goes off to the right that leads to a rock bluff where you can see the 2nd waterfall. Great place to see the waterfall but is very rustic. 600 feet of waterfall spread over 1.5 miles - both waterfalls are close to 100 feet tall. We were fortunate to be here after several days of heavy rain - a beauty.

Great family hike
Pisgah falls in Alabama is a very beautiful hike. With 3 waterfalls to explore it's a must see. GPS gets you close. Most reviews I've read , GPS takes you to the ball field about 500 feet to far. You want to go to the civitan park right before to ball field. The trail are behind the pavilion . We took our 4 year old grandson he did wonderful. Beautiful place to take pictures. .

beautiful places
I've been to a lot of waterfalls, this series of waterfalls is worth the trip. We put the falls into the gps which led us to the right place but wrong parking lot, it will take you to a ball field instead of the park which is about 500 feet away. You need to go to the civitan park right before the ball field. There is a map right inside the gate very helpfull. Great hike for the whole family, we spent the better part of two hours and took our 4 year old grandson, he absoulutly loved it.
