Great Museum Center
Museum Centre Vapriikki (Museokeskus Vapriikki) is a great centre accommodating a bunch of cool museums. It's a great place to visit for kids and adults alike. The Natural History Museum, Postal Museum, Tampere 1918 Exhibition, Mineral Museum, The Finnish Museum of Games, The Hockey Hall of Fame Finland, and many changing exhibitions... 13 eur for adults and 6 eur for kids (7-17). Highly recommended place to visit in Tampere.

A must-visit museum center in Tampere
Great center with several museums, such as game museum, postal museum, and several special exhibitions. Proper on-site restaurant. Grocery shops can be found nearby. Highly recommend the game museum where you can try many classic or new games. This center is a must-visit for anyone in Tampere.

So much to explore
Our original plan was to visit the Game museum and though we did, we eventually ended up spending even more time in the other exhibitions, all of which you could access with the same ticket. The Game museum was fun, mostly because you could play all sorts of old games there. It was pretty crowded though, so we ended up spending quite a lot of time in the Postal museum instead. It was a really pleasant surprise and the exhibition was skillfully executed. Also the exhibition was a a lot quieter than the game museum, so you could explore it in peace. We visited also the Ape exhibition (I think that one was a temporary exhibition) and found it interesting. We had only couple hours of time to explore the whole Vapriikki before our train left and we definitely could have spend there twice the time.
